St. Peter Lutheran announces new pastor
St. Peter Lutheran Church, Fort Myers Beach has a new pastor, the Reverend Lorrie Davison.
Pastor Lorrie and her husband, Ron are “transplanted Ohioans,” having lived in Florida for a total of 17 years, and have three adult children who live in Ohio. Rev. Davison graduated with a Master of Divinity degree in theology from Trinity Lutheran Seminary, Columbus, Ohio in 2004. Since 2005 she served as Pastor for an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America congregation in central Florida.
Her passion for ministry is, “To accompany people as they learn to more deeply love Jesus and as they find their gifts for the ministries that God calls them to do in the world around them, both as individual believers and together as a congregation of the body of Christ.”
Worship times at St. Peter Lutheran Church are 8:15, 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings, and beginning on January 8 at 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays. St. Peter is located at 3751 Estero Blvd., Ft. Myers Beach. For more information please call the church office at 463-4251.
