Spirituality conference is this week
The House of Prayer Interfaith Retreat and Spiritual Growth Center is pleased to announce its fourth annual Spirituality Conference, to be held Jan. 21 and 22, 2011. The Richard R. Pautz Lifelong Learning Foundation is sponsoring the well-known dynamic speaker, Sr. Barbara Fiand, a sister of Notre Dame de Namur. The conference will be located at the Lighthouse Bay at the Brooks Clubhouse in Bonita Springs on Friday evening and at the Lamb of God Church on Cypress View Drive in Estero on Saturday.
Sr. Barbara lectures throughout the country and abroad on topics such as holistic spirituality, prayer and transformation of consciousness and quantum spirituality. She has written nine books and many articles.
“Seeing God with New Eyes” is the topic of the Friday evening lecture from 7 to 9 p.m. The Saturday session theme will be “Embracing Jesus as the Christ of Our Today and Tomorrow.” This session runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A $25 donation is requested for both.
