The shelter is open for adoptions from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The Shelter is located at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Pkwy.
All adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination and county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and over, feline aids & leukemia test for cats, training DVD, 10-day health guarantee, and a bag of Science Diet pet food.
The adoption package is valued at $500.

Comments: I’m a really happy girl. I have so much fun in the play yard with the volunteers but I sure wish I had a home and a yard of my own. I’ve been at the shelter since November so I’m hoping a family who wants a really cool dog will come adopt me soon.

One of my favorite pastimes is sitting on someone’s lap for lots of petting or hugs. In my spare time when I’m not napping or lapping I like to play with toys especially ones I can bat with my big feet. If you adopt me we could play every day!
