Shrine club holds social
The Fort Myers Beach Shrine Club at 19171 San Carlos Blvd. will hold its first social for the 2010-11 winter season on Oct. 28.
The event will be the club’s gala Oktoberfest featuring Ron Gruno with his electric midi accordion and his good-old oompah-pah music and modern Bavarian tunes.
The entree for the evening will be your choice of a great Bavarian dish consisting of bratwurst and knock wurst or Bavarian white fish, Bavarian potato salad, red cabbage and dessert.
Happy hour starts at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 7. Call Bob Lee at 694-4476 for reservation. Cost is $15.
The club hosts bingo every Friday. Early bird bingo starts at 6:30 p.m. with regular bingo at 7, with jackpots of up to $250 each. Everyone is welcome to come and play. Enjoy a free donut and coffee during intermission. Snack bar is open prior to bingo.
