Shell Point informs on concert series
Shell Point Retirement Community’s ninth annual Fine and Performing Arts Concert Series of 2010/2011 has been announced by Dawn Boren, director of resident life for Shell Point Retirement Community.
This series will feature five concerts all beginning at 7:30 p.m. including:
– The International Chamber Soloists Tuesday, Nov. 9
– The King’s Singers Tuesday, Dec. 14
– Dallas Brass Monday, Feb. 14, 2011
– The Four Freshmen Thursday, March 24, 2011
– Angela Brown, Soprano Thursday, April 7, 2011
“The residents at Shell Point thoroughly enjoy the variety of arts and cultural choices available to them right here in our community,” said Boren. “The 2010-2011 Fine & Performing Arts Concert Series has assembled a lineup of artists of equal parts artistic excellence, international acclaim, superb entertainment, virtuoso performers and a sense of surprise.This is sure to be an iconic concert series, where music of the fine and performing arts is defined.”
Tickets for the concerts are $35 each, or a season ticket of all five concerts can be purchased for $125, for a savings of $50. This year an additional ticket option is available which allows purchasers to pick three concerts of the five for $90.
