Mack outraged at Federal Court ruling upholding Obamacare
Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14) issued the following statement regarding the ruling by Federal District Court Judge George Steeh, an appointee of former President Bill Clinton, upholding key provisions of Obamacare.
Mack said:
“Today’s ruling in Michigan to uphold key provisions of Obamacare is an obvious and outrageous attempt by an activist judge to further erode the rights of all Americans to say how they are going choose their health care. Liberal judicial activism such as this should not be tolerated and every American should be outraged and fight this debacle. I am confident this ruling will be reversed at the appellate level.” Mack said.
George Steeh, a Federal Judge for the Eastern District Court of Michigan upheld the key provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 in a lawsuit brought by the Thomas More Law Center and four other plaintiffs.
