Lee Parks seeks volunteer help

Lee County Parks and Recreation is looking for some Volunteer Park Beautification Specialists to assist staff with keeping our off-leash Dog Beach clean. Duties include strolling Dog Beach and picking up trash, litter and debris. All training and supplies are provided. Dog Beach is located at 8800 Estero Blvd. just south of Lover’s Key State Park. Lee Parks is also looking for friendly, outgoing adults to lead fun and healthy group walks along the beach.

Reliable volunteer leaders are needed to conduct walks along the shorelines from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Bonita Beach Park on Mondays and Bowditch Point Park on Wednesdays. This is a casual stroll along the beachfront to start your day in a healthy and fun way. These programs start in December and run weekly.
