Beach preserve hosts Visions of the Past
Matanzas Pass Preserve comes alive this Saturday with an annual ghostly event called Visions of the Past. Take a guided walk through the preserve during the Great Calusa Blueway Festival.
Enjoy the facts and folklore of years past while visiting the Calusa Indians, Pirates, Koreshans, Early Settlers, and Pioneers of Estero Island as you stroll through Matanzas Pass Preserve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Oct. 30. Group walks will be held every half hour during the alloted times. This free event is open to all ages, children under 12 are asked to be accompanied by an adult.
