Mack statement on ninth anniversary of Sept. 11 attacks
Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14) issued the following statement today on the ninth anniversary of the September 11th attacks.
Mack said:
“Nine years ago today, the American spirit was put to the ultimate test. We will never forget those tragic hours, days, weeks, and months following the attacks on our nation.
“But we, as Americans, have shown our resilience and resolve. We must always remember the significance of this fateful day and share the lessons we have learned as a nation with future generations.
“Today, we pray for those who lost their lives in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon, and we pray for those brave men and women who continue to protect our nation at home and around the world. As we honor them with ceremonies, events, and moments of silence on this Saturday, we must always remember to honor them by upholding the ideals of freedom and democracy that make our nation strong.”
