Italian Fest is coming to Fort Myers

The Rotary Club of Fort Myers will host the second annual Italian Fest to benefit Rainbow Trials and Blessings in a Backpack at The Alliance for the Arts in Ft. Myers on Sunday, Oct. 3. It will feature an afternoon of food, fun and friendly competition.

Sample authentic Italian food from some of the best local restaurants including Sasses, Giovanni’s, University Grill, Pizza Fusion, Mario’s Meat Market and Mastello.

And did we mention traditional Italian beers?

Treat yourself to listening to some of the best local musicians including The Flying Bambino Brothers and Alter Ego. Children will enjoy games and fun including face painting, bounce houses, and coloring contests. The Lee County Sherriff’s VOICE department will be on sight conducting educational sessions and fingerprinting for children of all ages.

Local celebrities will judge a cooking completion between some the best local Italian chefs and award prizes to the winners.

There also will be televisions set up for every fan to check the score of their favorite NFL game.
