Deputies searching for woman who stole purse – update #1
Based on a tip generated through Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, detectives questioned and then arrested Rosa Gomez, DOB 9-12-71, of 11315 Pendleton Street, Bonita Springs. Gomez is charged with Grand Theft.

Lee County deputies are looking for a woman who stole a purse from a shopping cart at a Bonita Springs grocery store.
On Sept. 20, 2010 shortly before 2 p.m., deputies were called to the Sweetbay at 8951 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs. The victim told deputies that after paying for groceries, she placed her purse in her shopping cart. The victim then pushed the shopping cart to the north entrance, retrieved her groceries and exited the store, leaving her purse in the cart.
When the victim arrived at home, she realized she had left her purse in the shopping cart and returned to the Sweetbay.
Surveillance video shows a Hispanic female with long black hair pushing a cart with groceries out the north entrance. The female stops and looks at the purse several times, then grabs it and places it in her cart before exiting the store.
