Create a scarecrow to benefit Lakes Park

Get involved in a great community festival at Lee County Parks and Recreation’s Lakes Park by creating a scarecrow to promote your business.
“Scarecrows in the Park” will feature unique, wonderful and downright frightening scarecrows created by Lee County businesses, clubs and families at Lakes Park “Halloween Extravaganza & Fall Festival”. Prizes will be awarded for the most unique designs. Entries will be displayed at the park Oct. 16 through Halloween.
The donation/entry fee is $250 and proceeds benefit the Lakes Park Enrichment Foundation as it builds a Botanic Garden and adds new dimensions to the park.
Registration forms are available at www.lakesparkenrichmentfoundation.org under the “events” section. Registration is due Sept. 15.
