Bonsai Society to hold monthly meeting
Guests are welcome at the monthly meeting of the Fort Myers Beach-based Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. to noon.
“Bring your problem trees” is the featured program for the meeting. Individuals are invited to bring questions or problems they have about their trees or the art of bonsai. Masters will review the problems and offer solutions.
The meeting is held at the Support Personnel Association of Lee County Building at 6281 Metro Plantation Road in Fort Myers. There is no charge for attending the meeting and reservations are not required.
Bonsai is a horticultural art of growing trees in pots. It had its origins in China and Japan. Information about bonsai and the association will be available at the meeting.
