Murder suspect added to 10 most wanted list

Timothy Tuttle, the 22 year old fugitive wanted in connection with the July 10 murder of a Cape Coral man, has been added to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers’ 10 Most Wanted List.
Tuttle is accused of breaking into the home of Eric Stuebinger in North Cape Coral on July 10, along with his partner in crime, Terry Ragland. Authorities allege Tuttle and Ragland demanded money and drugs, then Tasered Stuebinger before shooting him – all while his girlfriend and young son were in the house. Ragland was arrested last weekend in Naples for his role in this violent crime, and now, detectives need your help tracking down Tuttle.
Criminal records paint a clear picture of Tuttle, a registered convicted felon with 12 prior arrests in Lee County alone. His first felony arrest came at the age of just 14 years old, on 12 counts of burglary, theft and grand theft auto. Since then, he’s racked up multiple additional arrests for burglary, weapons and drug charges. Earlier this year, he was jailed after allegedly stabbing a man eight times during the Swamp Cabbage Festival in Glades County. He was eventually arrested for that crime, but was released 22 days
later after posting bond.
Detectives believe Tuttle may be driving a grey Ford F-150 pick up truck, and that he should definitely be considered armed and dangerous. Tuttle is 5′ 8″, 155 pounds, and has a tattoo of bars with a broken clock on his upper right arm. Tuttle was arrested in 2006 as a result of a Crime Stoppers tip, and authorities are hopeful that a new anonymous tip will again lead to his capture. Upon his arrest, Tuttle will be held without
bond and charged with second degree murder.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Timothy Tuttle is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash rewards. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org.
