3 min read

Pursuant to Florida Statute 775.21 the Public Safety Information Act of 1997, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making formal community notification about the address change of three sexual predators registered as residing in Lee County, as well as whether the victims were minors or adults at the time of offense. We are hopeful that local media will assist in this process by broadcasting or printing the name, description, and photograph of the court designated predator.

Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has joined a partnership with FDLE by offering a link to a new feature. FDLE developed a notification service at the direction of the Florida Legislature as part of the state’s compliance with the federal Adam Walsh Act. Citizens may select an unlimited number of addresses and/or offenders to track…and can update their selections at any time. The alert system will send e-mail notifications within 24 to 48 hours of an address change to the state’s registry.
