What’s Happening at Chapel by the Sea
“From east to west, the powerful Lord God has been calling together everyone on earth” -Psalm 50:1
Baobab Blast is coming to the Chapel in our Vacation Bible School. There will be Savannah Storytelling, Kalahari Crafts, snacks, Grassland Games, Serengeti Science, Madagascar Music, and more. Baobab is a gigantic tree found in Africa that creates it’s own ecosystem. The enormous tree can grow to 98 feet tall and 36 feet wide; it provides basic life needs for many different creatures. The tree serves as a meeting place for many people to gather, discuss, and share stories. The baobab tree is a symbol of community. We like to think of Chapel as a symbol of our beach community where we can gather, discuss and share stories too. We hope that you will come and join us for this special adventure and lots of fun! Come meet us at the tree the week of June 21-25, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Contact Melody at 560-2041 or go to melody@chapelbts.org to register.
Father’s Day is June 20. Thank him. Bring him to Chapel. Pray for him. We would love to have you join us on Sunday morning for our worship service at 10 a.m. followed by fellowship in Silver Hall.
