Commissioner Hall receives endorsement

Sheriff Mike Scott and Clerk of Circuit Courts Charlie Green, along with the Southwest Florida Professional Fire fighters & Paramedics have announced their support for Tammy Hall, Republican candidate for Lee County Board of Commissioners for District 4.

“I am honored to have earned the support of these fine county officials and first responders,” explained Hall. “I thank them for all they do to serve Lee County and for joining our fight to recover jobs, reduce taxes and restore nature for a better Lee County.”

In his endorsement, Sheriff Scott pointed to Hall’s proven track record. “Tammy’s relentless drive in fighting for the needs of Lee County is a hallmark of her public service. She is a champion for economic and community development, a leading advocate for the preservation of our unique environmental resources and a strong fiscal conservative. I ask voters to join me in casting their vote for Commissioner Tammy Hall on August 24.”

Walt Stevens, President of IAFF, Local 1826, explained the organization’s recent unanimous backing of Hall. “For many years, fire fighters and paramedics have benefited from Tammy’s hard work and dedication in her previous role as Council Member for the City of Fort Myers and as a Lee County Commissioner. She is our clear choice.”

For his part, Clerk of Circuit Courts Charlie Green applauded Hall’s consistent efforts to stay informed about the County budget. “From day one, Tammy Hall has wanted to understand the numbers. She has impressed me with her ability to be proactive in getting information and utilizing that information in her decisions. She has reached out to our office continually for up-to-date data on the County’s finances. I am proud to support her.”

The Lee County Board of Commissioners is comprised of five members, each of whom is elected to represent one of five districts through countywide vote. District 4 Commissioner Hall is a resident of Cape Coral, Florida.
