Chapel by the Sea Happenings
“We are a church for Jesus Christ and we are a church for all seasons. Seasons of life, Seasons of the year, and Seasons of growth as Christians.”
There are many opportunities to serve at Chapel by the Sea. Do you like to sing but don’t want to make a long-term commitment to join the choir? Are you visiting and would like to help us make a joyful noise? Our informal summer choir practices each Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. in the Music Room of Silver Hall for the 10 a.m. service. Come and join us for one Sunday or as many as you can give.
If singing is not your gift maybe you would like to join us on our trip to the Immokalee Soup Kitchen where we serve lunch to the migrant workers. This month’s trips are Wednesday, June 9 and Friday, June 25. The Chapel bus leaves at 9:15 a.m., so please call the office to reserve your seat at 463-3173.
We always need volunteers for God’s Table, especially in the summer. This is an ecumenical program sponsored by the Beach Ministerial Association and helping the homeless and needy. The program is Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Breakfast, bag lunches, canned foods, showers, clothing and Christian fellowship are provided.
Of course, we would love to have you come and worship with us on Sunday mornings. Our service begins at 10 a.m. and is followed by coffee hour fellowship.
For more information on any of the above please call the church office at 463-3173 or check out our website at www.Chapelbts.org.
