Bay Oaks Social Seniors met for a buffet luncheon at Chapel by the Sea on Wednesday, June 2. After lunch, Terry Stewart, Fort Myers Beach Town Manager, introduced himself and made a presentation on the funding sources that the town draws on, how the formulas for these sources are determined, and how the drop in property values will affect the Town Council’s budget plans. Terry then took questions from the audience concerning the future of the BOSS program, especially about the possibility of having a full-time director for BOSS.
