Beach school busy before ending
It has been a busy past two weeks for students going on field trips at Beach Elementary School.
Beginning on Monday, May 24, the kindergarten students visited Publix to learn about community helpers, goods and services and needs and wants. On Wednesday, June 2, the third graders enjoyed a trip to Naples Sun and Fun, while the kindergarten students went to the beach for sun and fun after a strenuous math test.
On Thursday, June 3, the fifth graders took a trip up to Tampa and Busch Gardens. The third graders were back on the road at the Naples Zoo on Monday, June 7. The active kindergarteners visited the Town of Fort Myers Beach pool on Tuesday, June 8.
Next week is the final week of school. All students will enjoy early dismissal on Monday and Tuesday, which is the last day of school. Monday will feature the fifth grade awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday is the annual carnival day after dismissal.
