Beach park gets clean Saturday

1 min read

Volunteers are joining Barefoot Wine officials to keep Fort Myers Beach “barefoot-friendly.” A public cleanup and celebration is planned on Saturday, June 12, from 8 to 10 a.m. at Lynn Hall Park near Times Square.

The Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project, now in its fourth year, makes beaches and lakes across America “barefoot friendly.” Following the cleanup, volunteers age 21 and over are invited to attend a celebration at Nervous Nellies (formerly known as Snug Harbor) at 1131 First St.
