Beach Soccer Championships now in July
The Beach Soccer Championships, which were slated to happen this past weekend at the Holiday Inn at the Beach, have been moved to July 17-18, 2010.
The new Fort Myers Beach festival date changed at the request of the local soccer clubs not wanting to miss out on the action. For many clubs the date change will assist them with time to put together their squads as tryouts were officially allowed to start on June 1, following a mandate from Florida Youth Soccer Association.
