A group of Bay Oaks Social Seniors under the leadership of Laurie Satalino spent the weekend of April 23-25 at Epcot and Animal Kingdom in Orlando. Among the wonderful experiences at Epcot were the following attractions: “Soarin,” which recreates a free-flying hang gliding adventure; “Reflections of Earth,” a fireworks display set to a musical score; and a visit to a German restaurant in the World Showcase of nations.

In the Animal Kingdom, the highlights were the Kilimanjaro Safari, an expedition through a wild animal reserve and the Festival of the Lion King, a tribal celebration featuring favorite characters from “The Lion King” movie.

Everyone left feeling that as many new and interesting things that they had seen and done, Disney World has a great many more things to see and do, and it would take a lot longer than a weekend to experience them all.
