St. Michael school chooses Booster for fundraising

1 min read

St. Michael Lutheran School in downtown Fort Myers has launched a new fundraising strategy this week called the Boosterthon Fun Run. As product sales quickly decline across the U.S., more schools are turning to Booster’s leading, healthy alternative to school funding.

In addition to their proven track record of increasing school funding by more than 70 percent per student, the 2-week Booster program emphasizes fitness, leadership and character. Booster team members bring the classroom to life teaching values based on a yearly theme. For Spring 2010, that theme is “STAND UP” and represents the following character initiatives:

– Serve One Another

– Take Time to Read

– Ask Great Questions

– Never Give Up

– Discover Your Talents

As you might can imagine, Booster is a breath of fresh air for school faculties and PTA groups. Its hassle-free program is easy for schools and encourages kids to live healthy, active lifestyles and make positive choices. Go to www.funrun.com for more information.
