Snowbirds – Leave Us Your Food
The United States Postal Service recently issued a message to all snowbirds who are leaving the area.
Dear Snowbird Friends:
The hungry in our community need your food donations as you clean out your cupboards to return north. Please leave your donations of non-perishable food items at your local Post Office. Your donations will be saved for inclusion in the letter carrier food drive on Saturday, May 8. All food will be distributed by local food banks.
