McLachlans win residential award for Beautification program
The property of Earle and Phyllis McLachlan at 21088 St. Peters Dr. is the recipient of this month’s Town/Chambers Alliance Beautification Recognition “Residential” award.
The McLachlan’s have lived at the location for 11 years, and it’s the first house you see straight on as you drive down St. Peter’s Drive. They tell me they feel extremely fortunate to live on such a lovely street here on Fort Myers Beach. They try very hard to keep their landscaping looking good. The cold temperatures earlier this year damaged some of their plants and on the advice of their neighbor (who is a professional landscaper), they have cut some plants back in hopes that they will recover. This has been a very unusual year, weather-wise and seems this problem is universal.
Well, certainly, the McLachlan’s have done a fine job of landscaping and is truly a welcome setting to Fort Myers Beach. Congrats to you!
