Beach United’s Pass On the Gift Month
Following the morning worship service at Beach United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 25, all interested persons are invited to Fellowship Hall to join in an observance of Pass On the Gift Month. The Missions Committee will serve sandwiches and fresh strawberry dessert before showing a 20-minute DVD about the life-changing work of Heifer International.
Although reservations are not essential, an approximate count of those who will attend would be helpful. Would those planning to attend please either sign up at the church or phone 463-9656 or 437-9790 so that place settings can be prepared.
Spring is the time when heifers have little calves, sheep produce little lambs, and life surges anew in the animal and plant worlds. During April, persons around the world who have received life-changing training from Heifer International are involved in passing on to other needy persons offspring of an animal they have received.
As supporters of Heifer International, Beach United Methodists are joining in this world-wide ministry.
