Beach school holds kindergarten day
Beach Elementary is rounding up future Kindergarten students for the 2010-2011 School Year.
Come and join our present Kindergarten students on May 18, at 10:30 a.m. at Beach Elementary School for a meet and greet day.
For 30 minutes, students will spend time with present KG students and teachers in the classrooms. At 11 a.m., new parents and new upcoming students will be treated to lunch in our school cafeteria.
Registration requirements are as follows: Original birth certificate; Health examination (must be dated within 12 months prior to registration); Social Security card (if available); Florida Certificate of Immunization; Custody papers (if not living with both natural parents); and Proof of address (e.g. current electric bill, water or cable bill, signed lease agreement, homestead exemption).

Students must live on Estero or San Carlos Island to attend Beach Elementary. Please notify the school if you will be attending this event.

Beach Elementary will be holding a “Kindergarten Welcome Day” for children who will be entering the school next year on Tuesday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. The incoming kindergarten children and their parents will get a chance to meet the school’s teachers and some staff members, read a book with a reading buddy and pick up registration materials. The children and their parents will then be treated to lunch in the cafeteria with current students. If you know of a child that will be of school age for the fall, please tell their parents about this event or have them call Mrs. Renee in the office at 463-6356.
KG students must be age 5 by September 1 of 2010 to enroll in school.
Requirements for any New Student on the island that has not attended a Lee County District School and incoming KG Students
Original Birth Certificate
Florida Certificate of Immunization (Original Blue shot record card)
Health Exam dated within 12 months prior to registration
Social Security card if available
Proof of residence (call office for detailed documents accepted)
Proof of Custody if child not living with both natural parents
Name and address of last school attended
