Shrimp Run set for Saturday
Children grades K-5 will race for the Lions trophy. This one-mile run will take place March 6, at 8:30 a.m. on the beach front at Gulf Beach Road. Call Lion Joellyn at 463-6986. Check-in time is 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Each grades will run separately; Top three finishers for boy and girl in each grade; Ribbons for all other participants; Awards given at end of race.
No fee for the run, but contributions can be made; All runners must wear shoes; “The kids have a great time every year but maybe the race watchers have the best time cheering on their favorites,” said Event Chairperson Lion Joellyn Reckwerdt. For additional information call 463-6986.
