Shell Point hosts Southwest Florida Symphony
The Southwest Florida Symphony will perform a concert called Bach & More on Friday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the third annual Southwest Florida Symphony Concert Series hosted by Shell Point Retirement Community. The concerts are held in The Village Church auditorium on the Island at Shell Point.
Rich in soaring strings, this concert features two celebrated Bach works (from father and son), a dazzling oboe solo and Schubert’s mass in “G” with the angelic voices of the Symphony Chamber Chorus. This concert will offer music varied supremely crafted in every note, featuring Dione Chandler, principle oboe; and SWFL Symphony Chamber Chorus.
