Beach woman found dead in apartment
Long-time Fort Myers Beach resident Kirsten Norberg, age 44, was found dead in her apartment on Bonita Street yesterday, according to sources who were close to her.
Norberg, who was a bartender at the Beach Whale, Smokin’ Oyster Brewery and Pincher’s Crab Shack before sustaining injuries to her eye socket, collarbone, wrist and thumb, appeared to have died from natural causes, according to Lee County Sheriff’s Office Information Officer John Sheenan.
Known as a Minnesota Vikings fan and originally from that Midwestern State, Norberg leaves behind a mother and a sister. She will be missed.
