Fort Myers Power Squadron report

1 min read

The Fort Myers Power Squadron has had a busy end of 2009 and an exciting start of 2010. On Jan. 8, we saw our new Bridge officers installed at the Royal Palm Yacht Club.On Jan. 16, we had a Squadron lunch at the Sundown Tiki.

On Jan. 28, we combined with the Fort Myers Beach Yacht Club and thirteen boats set course for Tarpon Point. After a lot of fun and good times we headed back to home ports three days later. On Feb. 13, we will be setting our courses and once again be shoving off for four days of sun and fun on Captiva Island at the beautiful resort of ‘Tween Waters. Mixed in with all the boating fun is a full slate of educational classes. There are piloting classes every Monday in February along with various other classes all open and free to the public. Just call for times and reservations. Also there is a dinner meeting the first Thursday of every month, everybody is welcome to come check us out.

If you live in paradise why not enjoy it to its fullest. For information on boat cruises, classes and dinners, cal 368-9734.
