Foreclosure and bankruptcy clinics
Florida Rural Legal Services is holding a series of free clinics to assist Southwest Floridians facing foreclosure. After a brief informational session, individual attorneys will be available to provide one-on-one advice and consultation to participants. If participants qualify, they may be able to obtain a lawyer free of charge to assist them with their case.
The clinics will be held at Florida Rural Legal Services, located at 3210 Cleveland Ave. (suite 1) in Fort Myers, at 6 p.m. on the following Thursdays: Feb. 25; March 11 and March 25; April 8 and April 22; May 13 and May 27; and June 10 and June 24.
Although there are no fees, attendees must call 211 to register or contact Ethel Wells, Florida Rural Legal Services pro bono coordinator at 334-4554, (ext. 4119) for a brief eligibility screening.
