The Caloosa Clown Alley was founded in Aug. 23, 1978. The alley is chartered with the Clowns of America International (www.COAI.org). Alley members participate in a variety of public service and community events each year. In February of each year we march in the largest parade in Southwest Florida -the Festival of Lights parade honoring Thomas Edison. During National Clown Week (Aug. 1-7) of each year, participation is in a variety of performances all over Lee County.
The Caloosa Clown Alley was formed to promote the art of clowning, to share it and spread it. There is a business meeting and a learning activity each month. An invite to join is offered anytime.
