Bay Oaks now offers Zumba Gold on Saturdays
Zumba has been a huge hit at Bay Oaks. It is so popular Bay Oaks will be offering two classes. In addition to Tuesday nights at 6:30, Zumba will also be offered on Thursday night at 6:30 also. The cost for each class is $5 for nonmembers and $4 for members. The Zumba program fuses Latin rhythms and dancing and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Zumba participants achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life! BORC will be offering a Zumba Gold class every Saturday at 9:30 am. The Zumba Gold is designed for the active adult population or the true beginner (unconditioned) participant. Zumba Gold addresses the anatomical, physiological, and psychological needs specific to these populations. Barbara Groves, a Certified Zumba instructor, will be instructing the class. Bay Oaks offers oil painting class
Any one interested in learning to oil paint or anyone that has painted but still may have intermediate skills is welcome to come join the new oil painting class at Bay Oaks Recreation Campus.
The oil painting class is geared to beginners and intermediate level students. Diane Davis will be instructing the class on everything it takes to create a great oil painting. Diane brings impressive qualifications that will sure to benefit all of oil painting students. She is a member of T.E.A.M. (Teachers and Educators of Materials), Society of Decorative Painters of Fort Myers, The Art League of Fort Myers, and she is a Certified Bob Ross Floral Instructor. Students must bring their own supplies.

Spaces still available for Bay Oaks Craft Show
If you have not signed up to be a vendor in this years Bay Oaks Arts and Craft Show, there are both indoor and outdoor spaces still available. The Arts and Craft Show will be on Feb. 20, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Indoor spaces are $35 and outdoor spaces are $25. Sign up today, spaces are limited.
