Town/Chamber Alliance announce residential Beautification Award
Richard Rolfes, a Naples resident, purchased the small cottage at 5740 Estero about a year and a half ago. It was built in 1935. He has since added a porch on the front and a deck on the beach side; took off the vinyl siding and restored it to the original wood; added a paver parking area and driveway lining the entrance way with Royal Palms. The house was painted yellow and aqua-colored awnings were added to give it that special cottage look. Mr. Rolfes fixed it up with the thought that with his travels, it would be a good mid-way point for him. But since the cottage has been completed, he’s surprised at how much more time he is spending at the location. He even has a hammock between two palms on the beach side just in case he has a little extra time to relax. Good for you, Mr. Rolfes.
