“Seabliss,” the new book by local Beach author and resident Mary Tatarian, will be featured at a book signing Monday, Jan. 18, at the Beach Book Nook in the Santini Marina Plaza, 7205 Estero Blvd., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

“Seabliss” is a cozy island mystery set on a Florida Gulf island that comes alive as two best friends, a local merchant and the island psychic, find themselves in the middle of some pretty strange business.

As events begin to unfold, the two novice sleuths are drawn into a web of murder, deception and drugs that stretches as far west as Mexico and as far south as the Keys.

“Seabliss” is loaded with unusual characters doing surprising things.

Feedback from readers have been as follows:

Mike K. from Naples: “I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading ‘Seabliss.’ I loved the characters and what you did made each one come alive.”

Elaine from Fort Myers: “I loved it. I can’t wait for your next book.”

Mary is the former owner of Pirate Pete’s Video on the island and a former Beach Bulletin columnist. She is a member of the Ostego Bay Foundation, the Southwest Florida Romance Writers group and the Romance Writers of America.
