Mack releases statement on Scott Brown’s victory in Massachusetts
Congressman Connie Mack (FL-14) issued the following statement this evening on the special election of Scott Brown to the U.S. Senate from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Mack said:
“Tonight, the people of Massachusetts spoke for all of America when they cast a resounding vote against a government takeover of health care and in support of preserving freedom and individual liberty. They proved to the nation that the ideas of freedom and free markets not Big Government and more spending are the keys to progress and prosperity. Sadly, this message has fallen on deaf ears for nearly a year. Maybe tonight the Democratic Leadership will really listen.
“I urge the Secretary of the Commonwealth to certify this election without delay and without political gamesmanship or partisanship so that the people of Massachusetts can quickly have their duly-elected representation in place in the U.S. Senate.”
