Fort Myers Beach Mayor Larry Kiker is throwing his hat back into the ring.

Kiker, who will complete his three-year term for Seat #2 on the Beach Town Council soon, told the Beach Observer he has officially given the town notice that he will run for Town Council.

“I’ve enjoyed working with this council, and I think we have a lot of great projects and programs either completed or started,” said Kiker. “I think it’ll be a crictical time during the next three years for the Town of Fort Myers Beach. I have the same committment now then the last time I told everybody I would give three years. I want to see things through and finished. I also want to see some of the new more strategic programs started. I look forward to working with this council as long as I can.”
