Book Nook hosts two signings

Annette’s Book Nook (7205 Estero Blvd.) will be hosting two book signings within a week of each other.

First up is Naples author Tina Murray on Saturday, Jan. 30. An artist and actress, Tina also has degrees from Florida State University and the University Of Miami in art education and in arts and drama. Her many interests have helped her in her debut novels set in a private exclusive private beach front community. In her novel “A Chance To Say Yes” she posses the question: “What if your high school flame became a world class movie star and was now moving back to your home town?” The characters deal with love, lust, greed, betrayal and resolving old hurst and mistakes to “come home again.’ Stop in to see her between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and pick up your signed copy.

Next is children’s author Annie Jacobsen, who will be meeting and greeting customers at Annette’s Book Nook on Wednesday, Feb. 3, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Jacobsen is the author of four delightful Scandinavian stories for children of all ages. Her books include, “The Terrible Troll Cat,” “Ivar,” “The Short But Brave, Viking,” “Hang On If You Want To Come Along,” and “The Tale of the Troll’s Horse.” All four of the books will be available for purchase and can be personally autographed during the event.

The Wisconsin native was a speech and language pathologist in public schools for 33 years before retiring and starting her second career as an author. She and her husband, Fred, own a condo in Fort Myers Beach and enjoy spending the cold Wisconsin winters in warm, sunny Florida.
