Show your pooch some puppy love at Hounds on the Mound

2 min read

Known by islanders as a pet-friendly place for dog walking, on Sunday Dec. 6, the Mound House will literally be “gone to the dogs”. Join us for family friendly activities focused on your canine companions including demonstrations and presentations on paddling with your pooch, massaging your mutt, feeding your furry friend, and a dogs life in days gone by.

You won’t want to miss the dog and pony show! Tender Loving Touch Pet Massage, Four Paws Dog and Cat Grooming, Invisible Fence Company, and The Golden Paw Salon generously provided prizes for the top dogs in a cascade of canine contests. Don’t let your sleeping dogs lie. Show off your dogs best trick in the Dog Eat Dog talent show, dress them in beach attire for the beach blanket bow wow costume parade, or coax your homely hound on stage for the Beauty or Beast ugly dog contest.

Stay out of the dog house! Well behaved four-legged friends are welcome on a leash with their human companions.
