Sexual Predator Notification

2 min read

Pursuant to Florida Statute 775.21 the Public Safety Information Act of 1997, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making formal community notification of a sexual predator registered as residing in Lee County, as well as whether the victim was a minor or adult at the time of offense. We are hopeful that local media will assist in this process by broadcasting or printing the name, description, and photograph of the court designated predator.

Fidencio Miranda has relocated to Lee County. He will be residing at 11421 Char Ann Dr Apt A, Fort Myers 33908.

Miranda was recently released from prison.

Name/Description:

Fidencio Miranda (03/28/1980)

H/M; 5’8″ ft. tall; 211 lbs.; black hair, brown eyes

Miranda was convicted in July 2003 of Sexual Battery by adult – victim under 12.

Photographs and additional information on sexual offenders and predators can be retrieved on the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) website at http://www.fdle.state.fl.us.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office distributes this information to area schools, state registered daycare centers and Lee County Parks and Recreation facilities located within a one mile radius of the predator’s residence.

Additionally, the Sheriff’s Office has joined a partnership with FDLE by offering a link to a new feature. FDLE developed a notification service at the direction of the Florida Legislature as part of the state’s compliance with the federal Adam Walsh Act. Citizens may select an unlimited number of addresses and/or offenders to track…and can update their selections at any time. The alert system will send e-mail notifications within 24 to 48 hours of an address change to the state’s registry.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office encourages people to sign up for this free service by:
