Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis annual Fun Run/Walk
On Saturday, Dec. 26, the Fort Myers Beach Kiwanis Club will host their annual Ferd Hauser Fun Run/Walk with registration beginning at 7 a.m. at Junkanoo’s south parking lot, across from the Fire Station on Estero Blvd.
This is a 5-kilometer event that is held entirely on the beach. Runners and walkers are welcome to participate. The runners will begin at 8 a.m. the walkers following at 8:10. Refreshments will be provided after the event, and trophies will be awarded to the first place winners in each age group. The $5 registration fee includes a free t-shirt to the first 150 participants to sign up.
