Annual Beach open set for January
The 23rd annual Fort Myers Beach Open will be held at the Fort Myers Beach Golf Club on Saturday, Jan. 16, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
The Open golf event, which is provided by Heidrick & Co., will give a portion of its funds will go to the Beach Elementary School. Winnings will include six hole-in-one prizes, $10,000, Callaway Irons, two HD LCD television sets and two pair of domestic airline tickets.
The Open is sponsored by Extraordinary Event, Lani Kai Island Resort, The Greater Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce, Pink Shell Resort, Yucatan Beach Stand, Fort Myers Beach Golf Club and Heidrick & Co.
