FMB Woman’s Club holds treasure sale

In their first charity fund raiser of the 2009-10 season, the Fort Myers Beach Woman’s Club will hold its Attic Treasure Sale on Saturday, Nov. 14 ,

from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the FMB Woman’s Clubhouse located at 175 Sterling St. (Behind AAIM Realty in the 5600 block of Estro Blvd.)

The Beach Woman’s Club’s members and friends have been saving treasured items for months. Now, the Club is full of many, many special items for sale at bargain prices. There are darling Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations, doll houses and toys made by loving grandparents, beautiful bed spreads, hand made afghans, all kinds of linens, and sets of dishes and glassware.

There are tables of handy kitchen, gardening, and workshop tools as well as one-of-a-kind unique finds and a few antiques.

Racks and tables of woman’s and some men’s clothes offer a great variety of designer and casual choices in a full range of fabrics and sizes. There are many suits, jackets, slacks, skirts, capris, shorts, blouses and dresses. There are raw silks, light filmy silks, heavy and light linens, cottons, polyesters, spandex and many blends and knits. Choose a new holiday party outfit, a fall suit or a whole casual wardrope all at fantastically low prices.

Be sure to stop by all the events on Saturday. Other than the clubhouse,

visit 9 to 1 St. Hilarys Episcopal Church at 5601 Williams Dr. from 9 a.m. to 1. p.m. and the FMB Art Association on Donora St. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
