PHOTO PROVIDED This painting by Lisa Grinter hangs at the Fort Myers Beach Art Association

Beach art association members have entered some of the best work yet in the art show hanging at the Donora street Gallery now through Dec. 10. The work is colorful and varied in both medium, subject and style. Take time to visit this working gallery and you may find artists hard at work creating new pieces. These beautiful paintings created by local artists are for sale as well.

The gallery will be open for viewing during regular gallery hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday through Saturday, and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Carrie Burns Brown, NWS, will be judging the show on Nov. 29, prior to her demonstration of collage techniques at 4 p.m. This demo will be open to the public and costs only $10 to attend. Brown will be conducting a workshop the following week on her water media collage techniques. More information on the workshop can be found on the website at www.fortmyersbeachart.com.

The gallery is on Donora Street at the blinking light off Estero Blvd. For more information on any FMBAA activity, call the gallery at 463-3909 or go to Web site www.fortmyersbeachart.com. Visitors are always welcome and new members delight us.
