Beach soccer team wins title

The Lions Club of Fort Myers Beach Under-18 boys soccer team recently defeated the club from San Carlos Park by a 3-2 score to win the Under-18 Boys Championship soccer title at Bayshore Soccer Complex in a Lee County Youth Soccer sponsored event. The Beach team beat North Myers (4-0) to get to the title game.
“The title game was a hard-fought, very spirited match by both clubs, but in the end we came out on top,” said Beach Soccer Club President Jim Demilia.
