Town holds rain barrel workshop
The Town of Fort Myers Beach will conduct a PRISM Rain Barrel Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 9 a.m. at Town Hall at 2523 Estero Blvd.
Island residents can learn how to construct a rain barrel to bring home and start harvesting rain from roofs and gutter runoff. The workshop including all rain barrels and hardware are free to Beach residents.
Call Town Hall at 765-0202, ext. 109, and reserve your rain barrel. All participants must register before Nov. 2, as barrels are limited.
