Technical institute comes to Fort Myers
ITT Educational Services, Inc. has opened a location in Fort Myers. The new college is the seventh location in the state and expands ITT Technical Institute’s national presence to 108 locations in 37 states. The college is located at 13500 Powers Court, Suite 100.
Classes are scheduled to begin with the academic quarter starting in September 2009. The college’s four schools of study – the School of Information Technology, School of Electronics Technology, School of Drafting and Design and School of Criminal Justice – include programs that teach skills and knowledge that can be used to pursue careers in the global, technology-driven business environment.
The ITT Technical Institute is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to offer associate of applied science and bachelor of science degree programs. The institute provides accredited, technology-oriented undergraduate and graduate degree programs to help students develop skills and knowledge they need to pursue career opportunities in a variety of fields. It owns and operates more than 105 ITT Technical Institutes and Daniel Webster College. ITT/ESI serves approximately 70,000 students at its campuses in 38 states and online.
