Shooting/murder committed near Kelly Road: Investigations under way INFORMATION UPDATED
According to PIO Sgt. Stephanie Eller, a shooting investigation began earlier this afternoon at a residence off of Dublin Circle near Kelly Road, which then became a homicide investigation. Two eyewitness visitors from Germany stated one body was placed into an ambulance. Information is still being gathered. Stay tuned as further press releases are issued.
UPDATE:
According to Sgt. Larry King, a call was received shortly before 3 p.m. King stated two people were shot: one fatal, one in critical condition, now at a local hospital. Investigations are still pending, searching for more eyewitnesses and clues to the events and making arrests.
Accoding to Sgt. Larry King, of the two people shot, one is now announced deceased and one critically wounded. Second person was transported to trauma center for treatment. They have begun searching the area by helicopter, patrol, crime units.
“Our protocol and our procedure is to obtained a search warrant to document the scene,” said King. “At this point, we’re waiting for the crime unit to respond.”
